This site is under construction right now. Maybe we should list where we are and where we are going:
February 6, 2013 21:00--Purchased this domain, and to our utter amazement, it was up and ready to go almost immediately. Sometimes this process can take a day or two, but it was done within the hour.
February 7, 2013 Midnight--Worked on some preliminary graphics and built the index page, the css script (at least some rough sketches), and worked through some of the php scripting that will run the joint.
February 7, 2013 9:00--Did some additional graphics work to create a better logo and better colors for the top. Added an email link at the top just in case anyone wants to give advice on what we might do to make our site more attractive ;>)
February 7, 2013 Noon--Created most of the tables that will be necessary to provide data to this web site. More tables and fields will be appended to the database as we advance in this process.
February 8, 2013 22:53--We are bracing for Nemo! We have also done an enormous amount of code work on this site.
February 9, 2013 2:01--Getting late. Have finished most of the log in, registration stuff and need to tweak and refine before going much farther than we are right now. Will also need to do quite a lot of testing.
February 9, 2013 10:30--Snowed in! Can't even do any snow blowing this morning (probably not until tomorrow morning) so I will do some database work.
February 14, 2013 19:13--We have been working on this project, but have been a bit remiss in writing commentary here. Everything is going fine, but we are pretty busy with other things and haven't had the time to devote to this project as much as we should. Just had to deal with a unix_timestamp issue and that is resolved. Betty has been doing some modifications on the sign up and log in pages. Trying to keep things simple.
February 24, 2013 12:31--I know, it looks like we are not working on anything, and it looks like that is the case for the last 10 days; however, we have been working on things here that are behind the scenes and, I might add, things are going fine. This is kind of a learning process for us. We have only a modest understand of CSS, HTML 5, and PHP, but are learning quickly.
